Livin’ analog for one week

In t-minus 4 hours, I am taking a break from the digital world and heading to the beautiful north woods of Wisconsin. No email, no web, no cell, no facebook, no twitter, and no blogging…nothing but old school social interaction…we will have a phone and DirectTV, so not totally roughing it.

I call it “livin analog” and I’m looking forward to it.  The closest connection to the web is a good hour drive, so we’ll see if I can get by without fantasy baseball, facebook, twitter, my reader feed, etc.  and not make that “quick” trip. Shouldn’t be an issue – right?  Afterall, we all lived analog just 20 years ago.

I’ll check back with you in a week to share how life without digital content worked out for me… liberating or limiting. It might be hell for my kids who were practically born digital.

Later.
