Seagate Again Ranked Among Top 100 Global Innovators

top-global-innovators_2016Seagate has once again been ranked among the world’s most innovative companies. Clarivate Analytics, formerly the intellectual property and science business of Thomson Reuters, announced its list of the 2016 Top 100 Global Innovators.

The report honors companies and institutions based on an analysis of patent volume, patent-grant success rates, the global reach and influence of the inventions. Click here for more on the methodology behind the list.

This marks the fifth straight year Seagate was included on the Top 100 Global Innovators list. Seagate compiled 521 issued U.S. patents in calendar-year 2016, up 35 percent from CY2014 and keeping pace with CY2015.

Among the other firms listed on the 2016 Top 100 Global Innovators are Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony, Huawei, Toshiba and Hitachi. Click here to view the full list.
