Seagate Recovery Software — better than ever, from the storage experts

Having built more hard drives than any other company, Seagate understands the value of data. We’ve combined Seagate’s storage leadership with over thirteen years experience as the world’s most trusted recovery service to design a superior software solution.

“It’s the first top-to-bottom revamp of our recovery software, and we’ve focused on ensuring the industry’s most user-friendly interface to recover data,” said Amir Mazoochi, senior engineering director at Seagate Recovery Services. “The application is not just a bare utility, but offers a complete solution to find and assess the drive’s problem and deliver the recovered data.”

A recent survey conducted by Seagate shows that nearly half of adult U.S. computer users risk losing their data because they don’t adequately backup their files to external storage devices. Twenty-five percent of all PC users lose some data each year.

“Often data loss can be fixed quickly and effectively with a piece of software without the need of a recovery engineer or a lab. In these cases, we want to provide our customers with a cost effective and efficient solution to get them back on their feet fast,” said Paul Steele, senior director and GM of Seagate Recovery Services.

In the event damage is too severe to recover your digital life with our software, not to fear. Seagate Recovery Services offers three options to recover files from any drive brand and storage device:

  • Seagate Recovery Software — Get your photos, documents and other files back yourself. Recover files that have been damaged, deleted or reformatted.
  • Professional In-Lab Recovery — Let the experts recover your files if there is physical damage to your storage device.
  • Seagate Rescue Plans — Protect against future failures or data loss by purchasing a Rescue Service Plan in advance.
