PAX East – Powerful Pixels Plunder the Eastern Seaboard

I don’t have a full account of where people have come from to attend the PAX East conference that is taking place at the Boston Convention Center this weekend, but I do know that there are a lot of them.  Last year saw about 70,000 gamers of all ages descend on the East coast, so it’s expected to be at least that many and probably more.

Companies were on hand to show off their latest and greatest including Epic Games, Ubisoft, Bethesda Softworks and several others including a multitude of independent game developers – definitely a group on the rise.

Standout titles that we’ll be taking a closer look at throughout the weekend include the MMO, Wildstar, Last of Us, and Spartacus Legends and of course a game I’m very much excited for, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag.

While this is all fine & dandy, the real thrill is that we are part of the Newegg Pavilion (Booth 818) where the fine folks of Team Seagate will showcase the power of our SSHD drive by conducting a PlayStation®3 “speed test” to show you how fast games will load when powered with our Momentus XT hard drive.

So if you’re attending the show, you HAVE to stop by and say “hi” to the guys. (It’s a moral imperative, you know?)

Meanwhile, watch this space for more info about the games I know you’ll have an interest in.

More coming soon…
