Seagate is helping to preserve the music industry’s rich history when it sponsors the GRAMMY Foundation’s 14th annual Music Preservation Project in Los Angeles tonight.
The “One Night Only: A Celebration of the Live Music Experience” event features live performances from GRAMMY winners Robert Cray, Shelby Lynne, Mavis Staples, Dave Koz, Jonny Lang and others. In addition, the event will feature historical footage from the GRAMMY Foundation’s preservation archives.
In support of archiving and the preservation of music, Seagate’s hard drives are the storage devices of choice for the GRAMMY Foundation and the company will serve as the presenting partner of this year’s event.
“This year’s One Night Only event will showcase how live music has impacted our culture and the music industry itself, featuring not only great live performances from past Grammy winners but also amazing footage from landmark events like Woodstock, Farm Aid, Lollapalooza, and many more,” said Tim Bucher, a GRAMMY Foundation board member. “Seagate is a natural fit for this event because its hard drives are used by countless musicians, creative professionals and consumers for storing and securing their valuable data.”
