So there’s this PAX Prime Thing Happening…

What essentially is the last US based consumer gaming show of the year, PAX Prime 2013 is a festival in a box.  It’s the final chance for game companies to get in front of fans so they can check out games releasing over the course of the next 6 months – well, most of them.

Most of the “big guns” are here including Bethesda, Sega, Ubisoft and of course, Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony to showcase the new consoles which are both scheduled to release this November.

The Indie Megabooth section is a mass sea of humanity as smaller studios show off their passion projects keeping the independent spirit of game development tried and true. It’s a great section to walk through when you’re looking for some really fun and sometimes quirky projects.

While the show has just wrapped it’s second day, it’s been a whirlwind of great conversations and demonstrations of upcoming projects such as Dying LightAir Mech, Plants vs. Zombies 2, Peggle 2, The Betrayer, Smashmuck Champions, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II, World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and Secret Poncho’s. (Whew!)

Over the next few days & weeks, I’ll be giving a deeper report on these games, so if you haven’t already, definitely put them on your radar. You’ll want to check them out soon, and start keeping an eye out for their release.

More from the show soon!
