Seagate announced it has taken the award winning GoFlex family of hard drives and “Mac-ified” them with features that address the specific needs of the Mac user. The original GoFlex family has always been Mac compatible, but this new line of drives adds some extra flair:
- Out of the box HFS+ formatted, so it’s Apple Time Machine ready.
- Includes both FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 cable adapters in the box…that’s like 2 drives for the price of one.
- Features the metallic finish that makes Mac systems unique today and we all know how important aesthetics are.
