The Post Pepcom Report

As I’d noted in a previous post, Team Seagate attended the Digital Experience (a.k.a. Pepcom) tonight and I have a much better picture to paint for you about the event.

To some extent, it’s exactly as you would imagine it with at 100 vendors (probably more) on hand to showcase some of the key highlights they have at the show.  “Like who?” you say?

Slacker was on hand to talk about their announcement today about the availability of ESPN shows and events to their network.

Samsung was present to show off the Samsung LED Es 8000 television with a picture so crisp; you’ll think it’s live. No, it’s better than live.

Walk a few rows over and you’ll see the iHealth booth with products to help you better track your weight, body fat, or blood pressure via smart devices tied to iOS apps for tracking and monitoring.

On the go with children a lot? Check out the Kid Tough Portable DVR by Fisher-Price. Simply plug into your cable box or satellite system and hit record. Unplug it and you’ve got up to 2 hours of on-board memory on a high quality, 3.5” touch screen.

Looking to expand your mobile world? Look no further than the MHL Consortium who has a device that allows you to showcase all your favorite games, movies and photos from your smartphone and broadcast them to your television – in HD. Cool? Very!

While CES technically doesn’t start until tomorrow, we are already off to a great start on new, innovative products that continue to make a digital lifestyle an everyday reality.

What’s been your favorite announcement from CES so far? Shout it out below or on Twitter.
