We Can Be Heroes at San Diego Comic Con

With everyone holding a microphone at San Diego Comic Con (and in some cases, literally) trying to get your attention to come to his or her booth or panel, it’s easy to overlook something that shouldn’t be missed – like a chance to be a hero instead of just dress like one.

We Can Be Heroes is a charity campaign orchestrated by DC Entertainment where proceeds raised go to Save the Children, International Rescue Committee and Mercy Corps to fight hunger in the Horn of Africa.

Leveraging Comic Con as the perfect platform to help raise awareness, DC Entertainment had a designated area of Petco Park that hosted a gallery of amazing artwork featuring the likes of Superman, Batman, Harley Quinn and several other iconic characters as well as custom cars themed like members of the Justice League.

The artwork that was on display is available for auction until the 27th of this month, so take a quick peek at the artwork available on our Facebook or Flickr channels. (Check out few few highlights below). Once you’re finished, head over to eBay and make a bid. Not only will you feel like a hero for fighting the good fight, you’ll get an amazing art piece that will compliment every room.
