What’s the Digital Footprint of Your Generation – Infographic

We generate 5 Billion gigabytes worth of data every 48 hours. If that doesn’t blow your mind, then you may not be processing it correctly. It’s staggering.

It’s always interesting to look at data consumption from a generational point of view. I know how much video I consume on a daily basis, so I can only imagine what my Millennal son will consume as he gets older. And anytime I call my mother, the television is on in the background. Either way, that’s a lot of data coming in.

Our friends over at Wikibon created this data-packed infographic highlighting the amount of data consumption by the last three generations – Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials. Did any of these stats surprise you or was it exactly what you would have expected?
