Seagate’s CSES Flash Memory Summit Debut Offers New Products and Leadership Insights

The ‘Electronics’ part of Seagate’s Cloud Systems and Electronic Solutions (CSES) is the result of the completed acquisition of the assets of LSI’s Accelerated Solutions Division (“ASD”) and Flash Components Division (“FCD”) from Avago Technologies Limited.

This technology acquisition has immediately boosted Seagate’s range and depth of flash storage capabilities and brings additional engineering expertise to accelerate its road map in the growing flash market. This is most clearly demonstrated through LSI’s ASD business, which has one of the broadest PCIe flash product offering and intellectual property in the market, today. Further to this is an FCD business comprised of award-winning SSD controllers and proven support for a wide range of applications.

For Seagate’s end user and OEM partner communities, having all the Seagate CSES pieces in place, in-time for the Flash Memory Summit (FMS) is goodness. But having new product offerings and a keynote address from CSES president, Phil Brace is even better.

FMS attendees will find Seagate in booth 505.
