Install a M.2 NVMe SSD
We’re here to help you get up and running with Seagate’s FireCuda 510 M.2 NVMe solid state drive. We’ll walk you through all the steps to install and format.
This article should be considered a supplement (and not a replacement) to the installation guide that was included with the SSD you purchased. We recommend going through the installation instruction carefully before starting the install process.
If you plan on replacing your old drive with your new SSD, you’ll need to migrate all your data using Seagate’s DiscWizard software, which comes with every drive and is also available for a complimentary download.
Finally, we recommend you download and install Seagate’s SeaTools application—which lets you monitor the health of your new SSD and schedule regular maintenance check ups to maximize its lifespan. You can download SeaTools here.
Now you should be all set with ferocious speeds, low latency, and superior performance. Let’s get gaming!
