Introducing the All-New LaCie RAID Manager
RAID can deliver full redundancy, ultimate speed, or any combination of both. But without an easy-to-use interface, configuring a RAID to meet your needs can be confusing and cumbersome. That’s why we’ve completely redesigned the LaCie RAID Manager to make configuring your RAID simple and straightforward.
Just click easy-to-read icons to set RAID levels from RAID 0 to RAID 10. The wizard will guide you through the benefits of each RAID level and optimize to your specific workflow needs. The manager also makes it easy to configure multiple RAID levels in one device.
For example, put six disks into a RAID 0 setup for an ultra-fast scratch disk and six disks into a fully redundant RAID 5 configuration for ultimate security (LaCie 12big). Edit footage on your RAID 0 array and backup final footage on your RAID 5 array.
The RAID manager also lets you monitor drives and devices remotely and set automatic alerts (email and more) to let you know when a drive in your array needs reformatting or replacing.
