I’ve been so cloud-happy this year, and you know I love infographics — so we decided to make our own infographic to illustrate why the shift to the could is unstoppable.

One misconception that still reverberates around the blogosphere is the idea that the cloud spells doom for hard disk drives. Of course, people in the know realize this is the farthest from the truth. It’s about as exaggerated as SSDs being the demise of hard drives, which also is not the case. Just look at the numbers. Storage devices are the cloud, and hard disk drives and SSDs will both be significant enablers whether your cloud is data center based, small business NAS based, or personal.
