Import lets you quickly import files from memory cards inserted into integrated card readers on compatible Seagate or LaCie devices. Insert a memory card, and Toolkit automatically copies your files to your device — no need to open folders and drag files.
Import also supports automated file copying from USB drives connected to hub ports on compatible Seagate and LaCie devices. Connect a USB flash drive or storage device to a hub port and let Toolkit back up files to your hub drive.
Unlike other features in Toolkit, Import is not available as an activity on the home screen. Instead, copying is automated or prompted when drives are detected.

An incremental import only copies new files and will ignore files that were previously imported from the same memory card.
By default, Toolkit will prompt you to import the contents of devices connected to USB hub ports. You can deactivate import prompts for connected USB devices.
Toolkit creates the following folders for all of your imports: DriveName > Toolkit > Imported Files.
During an import, Toolkit adds a uniquely named folder containing the imported files. The following naming convention is used:

YYYY | Year |
MM | Month |

HH | Hour (24-hour clock) |
