Over 100 attendees from across 12 different countries were on-hand for the recently held Seagate Cloud Systems & Solutions Conference in Amsterdam. This was the first time the event, previously known as the EVault EMEA Cloud-Connected Conference, took place under the Seagate CSS banner.
Between 5-7 November Seagate customers, partners, executives, sales, marketing and technical management came together for presentations focused on the new Cloud Systems and Solutions division, which is under the leadership of Jamie Lerner.
The multi-day event also provided a very important platform for attendees to share thoughts, ask questions and receive answers about the new division, its objectives and direction.
“Since we began hosting this event, several years ago, it has always been one of the most valuable dates on the company calendar, explained”, Aad Dekkers, International Marketing Director, Seagate Cloud Systems and Solutions. “But now, with exciting new challenges ahead it’s even more important that we come-together to plan a strategy for making Seagate CSS an industry leader across areas such as high performance computing, disaster recovery, data backup, converged infrastructures and object storage systems.”
As in year’s past, the highlight of the conference were the awards, presented by Seagate CSS. This was part of a social evening that included dinner, entertainment and more networking. This year’s award winners were:
