LaCie 12big Thunderbolt 3 and RAID Rebuild on Apple Silicon Macs
LaCie 12big Thunderbolt 3 should work when connected to an Apple Silicon Mac. Reading data from and writing data to LaCie 12big Thunderbolt 3 has been tested.
Using the RAID rebuild function in LaCie RAID Manager with a 12big Thunderbolt 3 on an Apple Silicon Mac can lead to sudden crashes. It is strongly recommended to avoid RAID rebuilds on Apple Silicon Mac computers with 12big Thunderbolt 3.
If a RAID rebuild is performed on an Apple Silicon Mac, there is a risk that the computer crashes which could lead to lost data. Therefore, if a RAID rebuild is performed, consider disconnecting 12big Thunderbolt 3 as soon as the RAID rebuild begins. A RAID rebuild can continue without connection to a computer.
LaCie Thunderbolt (First Generation)
First generation Thunderbolt devices are considered legacy and have not been tested with Apple Silicon Macs.
