A video is worth millions of words…so to speak.
For CES, Seagate put together a pretty cool video that takes you through the world in which we live today. A world that is really empowered by digital storage.
What would an eye catchy video be without the cool music and a whole host of statistics that reinforce what we are dealing with today whether we are a consumer, gamer, creative artist, small business, or enterprise user. What is most compelling about this video, and what makes it different from virtually any video Seagate has done in the past, is that it’s almost totally dependent on the cloud. The cloud – that omnipresent force that has many meanings, many adaptations, many viewpoints…but one things for certain, storage makes it all possible.
At least, that is the takeaway I get from watching it.
The cool underlying element to this piece is the journey it takes you on. From social media activities that apply to the masses, to elements of productivity that apply to large enterprise customers and small businesses, to what we consume at home, and on the go. Throughout the journey, you see the building blocks (mass storage) take shape in the form of buildings, houses, trains, airplanes, etc.
It’s a cool ride, check it out and think about how much you are empowered by mass storage. What would we do without it?
