Got some time to kill? Stare at some of this art…
I found myself staring at this for awhile… I would have never thought that paintings of old Atari cartridges would draw me in so much. I found myself scanning this painting left to right, top to bottom, images of the actual game flashing inside my head, remembering the sound of literally driving the cartridge into the consoles slot and starting it up.

My kids get no pleasure from this work of art. When I say game cartridges, they think of this:
And sometime in the not so distant future, when we say game cartidges, kids will see nothing, because they will all be on this…
Sorry – I just can’t stare at that for more than a second. Proof that art is in the eye of the beholder.
