At the recently held Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Seagate’s David Flesh recorded an informative video discussing Seagate Cloud Systems and Solutions.
Seagate = Storing More than Half the Planet’s Cloud Data
Among the many insightful data points in this video one that stands out is that Seagate is responsible for providing 50+% of the storage for the largest cloud providers on the planet. Further to this is the company’s focus on High Performance Computing (HPC). For this market, Seagate plays a strategic role to the biggest national laboratories in providing the storage power they require for studying everything from genomics and weather to space travel and discovery.
