Thanks to Wired Magazine’s Gadget Lab for this #hilarious trip down memory lane: The Amazing and Ridiculous Tech From a 30-Year-Old Sears Catalog. My favorite has to be the Glossary of Computer Terms, specifically the definition of “disk drive.” A close 2nd goes to “Input/output (I/O)”
Disk Drive – magnetic device that reads from or writes on diskettes.
Input/output (I/O) – process of entering data into, or taking it out of, a computer.
