How did USA Today and its readers make their choices? The news org gathered a panel of experts — Anna Hider of Roadtrippers, travel writer Biju Sukumaran and USA Today’s 10Best editor Lydia Schrandt — all known as road-trip aficionados. The panelists narrowed all the possible gifts down to just 20 nominees, then USA Today held a readers’ vote over a couple of months to select the top 10 winners. (I’m not surprised Seagate Wireless made the list — but we sure are honored!)
