Lost – The Complete Collection. Now you can get the every episode of Lost cataloged in a nice set of 36 Blu-ray DVDs!
36 Blu-Ray DVDs!
What’s ironic is that at least in my house, sets of DVDs quickly become abridged versions. DVDs get shuffled around, loaned to people, and quite frankly…lost.
I know there are copyright and DRM issues at play, but when will the day come when these “box sets” will be distributed on hard drives?
36 blu-ray DVDs, assuming they are single layer, totals about 900GB of storage (36 x 25GB). You can get a 1TB hard drive for around a hundred bucks, depending on how much production companies want to make, I would much rather have a drive than the DVDs. Less physical storage space, less manual labor switching out DVDs, less of a chance of losing 25GB at a time.
Am I beating a dead horse here?
