Ok, not really, but you can still kiss me.  I’ve always admired St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve always had an admiration for culturally specific holidays that bring people together like Chinese New Year, Black History Month or Hispanic Heritage Month.

But unlike some of the other similar holidays, I know very little about St. Patrick’s Day, so I took it upon myself to do some digging.  I love living in an age where this kind of data is just a Google search and mouse-click away. (Yay, data!)

For example, did you know that St. Patrick was actually born in Great Britain?  Or that the first St. Patrick’s Day Parade was held in New York in 1762?
