Seagate Purchases Over 250 Grocery Bags to Support the Singapore Cancer Society

Seagate recently organized a food drive for beneficiaries of the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS). The project raised more than $18,600 and the amount was used to purchase 270 bags of groceries for the Sharing of Love Program. Sharing of Love is a monthly island-wide program in Singapore where volunteers deliver food packages to Singapore Cancer Society beneficiaries. The employees purchase, pack, and deliver the food items to the patients.

More than 80 Seagate employees helped pack the groceries at the Singapore Cancer Society, and delivered them to the needy patients at their homes.

Seagate continues to do its part for the community as part of its Capacity to Care program. These programs include Seagate’s environmental and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) projects such as science fairs, computer literacy, tuition for the needy, home repairs, food drives etc.
