Singapore volunteers in a digital animation workshop recently partnered with students from Kuo Chuan Secondary School to tell their stories in a modern and unique way.
Students were introduced to stop motion animation, a filming technique to make an object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments and photographed individually with the use of a DSLR camera/webcam.
The students worked in teams to create storyboards and materials and produce a final output that allowed them to share their voices and interpret the school’s core values through short animation clips.
