What Content Are You Willing to Sacrifice for Storage?

“Sacrifice – surrender of something for the sake of something else”

– Webster’s Dictionary

Sacrifice is an interesting word. It can conjure images of athletes making amazing plays or fantasy heroes saving to world at great personal cost. But it’s a word that has a strong resonance in the tech world too and can be broken down to having to make a choice.

  • Size versus Portability
  • Wi-Fi versus Network Stability
  • Form versus Function

Or to bring it one-step closer to home – capacity.

When the iPad 3 was still just rumors, we were interested to know if the latest iteration would increase storage capacity.  Anyone who owns one knows how quickly 64GB can fill up.

And a full hard drive puts you in a compromising position. Nothing is more frustrating than when trying to download a movie or song and getting the “not enough storage space” message.

We get it. You shouldn’t have to make that choice. You shouldn’t have to make that sacrifice.

So we made you the Seagate Ultrathin HDD; 5MM of 500GB for your laptop or tablet so you can take all of your content with you.  Oh, and did I mention that it’s about 90 bucks?

I’ll wait for you to pick up your jaw.

We love the storage game but wanted to have a game changer so that whatever laptop, ultrabook or tablet comes on the market, capacity won’t be something you’ll have to sacrifice.

You don’t have to thank us.  Knowing your content is secured, backed up and accessible at a moment’s notice wherever you are is thanks enough.

So what content are you willing to sacrifice for storage space? With the Seagate Ultrathin HDD, it doesn’t matter.
