Did CES Meet Your Expectations?

Today’s the final day for the Consumer Electronics Show.  Over the course of the last few days, we got a number of news bits about some of the topics I covered in this post such as the connected home, SmartTV’s, and a lot more cars than you may expect to see at a show like this.

But that’s still just the tip of things.  With the ever-growing rise of mobile and wireless, you saw the latest developments from Verizon Wireless, Samsung and ZTE.

To meet the demand of wireless were literally hundreds of case makers such as one of my new favorites, Huckleberry Toys (click the link for the coolest cases ever) or  Headcase, which has some sharp sports, licensed cases.

Many of the “bigger/better” trends of 2012 are continuing whether it’s development in cloud storage, more apps for Smart TV’s or fun things like Play-Fi which allows you to stream music throughout your house via wi-fi.

The next 11 months will be interesting in the tech world. It’s exciting as some of these products come to market, and I can already feel some of the anticipation of what’s to come for CES 2014. (Did I just say that?)

There was a lot to see, hear, do, taste, touch at this year’s CES. But did it meet your expectations?
