Seagate Central Streams the Soothing Sounds of Summer – Anywhere

Let’s take a quick count – Spotify, Slacker, Pandora, Last.fm, Rdio, and iHeartRADIO. I think that may be all the streaming music services that I’m subscribed to, but I’m still probably missing a couple.

Yet what about my CD’s? Many are out of print and aren’t even available on the aforementioned services because they’re outdated collections, not yet licensed or just plain unpopular. (I admit to having eclectic music taste.)

This is one thing I love about Seagate Central, the ability to stream stuff I own – anytime, anywhere. Let’s be honest, we can all get a little intimidated by new technology. We want it easy to setup, easy to access and we want it to work. I’m not always the genius I think I am, but Seagate Central’s easy plug n’ play setup validated my brilliance. I was able to transfer my “less-than-popular” music (c’mon, who doesn’t like 60’s lounge?) to my device and within minutes, was able to turn my place into the swinging bachelor pad you see in movies. (Old, black and white movies, but don’t judge.) And this is just the beginning – with 4TB of space to fill, I’ll have room to include some of my movies and photo libraries.

Equally easy was download and setup of the Seagate Media App (available for iOS, Android or Windows). I’ll be able to hit the open road and blast my tunes at my house through my awesome UE BOOM speaker set in my car.

Throw in some of the suggestions from our Summer Playlist on Facebook, and I have no doubt this summer will be a good one.
